Homemade Trail Mix Recipe

The Everything Trail Mix

The Sweet and Salty Trail Mix

Catchin' Paradise Homemade Trail Mix

  • 3/4 cup unsalted peanuts (raw or roasted)

  • 3/4 cup unsalted almonds (raw or roasted)

  • 1/3 cup unsalted pepitas (raw or roasted)

  • 1/2 cup banana chips (pref. unsweetened)

  • 1/2 cup chopped papaya (pref. unsulfured & unsweetened)

  • 1/2 cup regular or crimson raisins (I used a combo)

  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup toasted coconut flakes

  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips

  • 2 cups peanut butter filled pretzels

  • 1 cup salted peanuts

  • 1 cup mini Chips Ahoy Cookies (3.5 ounce cup)

  • 2 cups mini marshmallows

  • 1 cup Reese's Pieces

  • 1 ½ cups mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (8 ounce bag)

  • 1 cup mini Oreos (3.5 ounce cup)

  • 2 cups Reese's Puffs cereal

  • 1 cup Nutter Butter Bites (3.5 ounce cup)

These are our two favorite recipes for Trail Mix. Trail mix makes the perfect beach snack. To make the trail mix, combine all of the ingredients together being careful not to eat too many of them before its finished. Pack away in bags or jars for the beach.
